Terms of Service.

By using the PetroEyes Intelligence Hub, you accept our Global Disclaimer. We are not financial advisors. All data is for institutional research purposes only.

1. Intellectual Property & Data Rights

All proprietary analysis, Expert Deep-Dives, and the "Harmonized Energy Data Model" are the intellectual property of PetroEyes.com.

  • Academic Use: You may cite up to 500 words of our research for academic or journalistic purposes with a mandatory do-follow link to the source page.
  • Scraping Prohibition: Unauthorized automated data extraction (scraping) of the PetroEyes terminal is strictly prohibited and monitored via Cloudflare Bot Management.
  • Trademarks: The PetroEyes name, logo, and "Intelligence Terminal" branding are proprietary marks. Use without written permission is prohibited.

2. Accuracy & Service Availability

PetroEyes leverages official API feeds from the EIA, IEA, and Baker Hughes. While we strive for 99.9% data integrity:

  1. Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
  2. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any data benchmark without prior notice.
  3. PetroEyes is not responsible for commercial losses resulting from data latency or source-level revisions.
  4. Scheduled maintenance windows may temporarily affect data availability.

3. User Obligations

As a user of this institutional terminal, you agree not to:

  • Bypass any technical measures used to protect the security of our data pipelines.
  • Use our research to facilitate illegal trading activities or market manipulation.
  • Impersonate any member of the PetroEyes Analyst Board.
  • Redistribute or republish our proprietary analysis without attribution.
  • Use automated tools to excessively access or scrape the platform.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PetroEyes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of or inability to use the service or any content therein.
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
  • Any statements or conduct of any third party on the platform.
  • Investment decisions made based on information provided on PetroEyes.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PetroEyes, its affiliates, contributors, and analysts from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms of Service.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of operation. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association. Continued use of the terminal constitutes acceptance of these terms.

7. Modifications & Severability

PetroEyes reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the platform. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PetroEyes regarding the use of the platform.
